Missions (Global Outreach)

A tithe (10%) and more is given from our offerings to others outside our church.  Acts 1:8 provides the stratgey we are employing to reach the global world we live in. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in all of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  To the right is not an exhaustive list but a sampling of some of the things we are doing.  But we are not done yet because God is moving our hearts to do more and more!

  • Roscommon County Food Pantry (feeding the under-resourced)

  • Life Choices Resource Center (West Branch)

  • Association to Rescue Kritters (A.R.K)

  • Oasis of Hope (shelter ministry to the homeless)

  • Gideon's (Roscommon County)

  • Jail Ministry (Roscommon County)

  • Giving Tree (assisting families at Christmas)

  • Womens Health (through Food Pantry and local High School)

  • Weekend Backpack Program (feeding local elementary kids)

-Judea and Samaria (missions done regionally and nationally)
  • Missions trips by individuals and teams.  Places served are West Virginia, Niagara Fall, NY.
  • Grand Rapids Community House (programs for all ages.)
  • North Country Cooperative Parish (building ramps)
-Ends of the Earth (missions done overseas)
  • Missions trips by individuals and teams.  Places served are Mexico and Haiti.
  • Church World Service (providing blankets)
  • Fair Trade Sales (coffee, nuts, oils)
  • Operation Christmas Child (Samaritans Purse Int.)
  • Hannah Kappler, South Korea ( OMS)
  • Seth & Veronica Porter, Papua New Guinea, (WGM)
  • Dmytro Netrebenko (Ukraine, (CRU))
